PubFlow

The Software Framework

PubFlow is a research project whose goal it is to find new approaches for the work with research data.

Currently it is still a lot of handwork to publish data sets to institutional repositories or data centers. In PubFlow we are working on a workflow framework to alleviate the work with these data sets. Our framework consists of different modules, which interact with each other through a message bus. The single modules are build upon proven technologies to make it easy for PubFlow users to customize the system, so it fits their needs.

PubFlow consists of the following main components:

  • The PubFlow Framework
  • CAPS: The Provenance Collector
  • The Provenance Archive
  • The Graph Framework

These components are described in more detail at their info-pages.
